Invisalign®
Invisalign is a modern orthodontic treatment that uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to straighten teeth. Unlike traditional braces, which are made of metal brackets and wires, Invisalign aligners are made of a clear, plastic material that is nearly invisible when worn. This makes them a popular choice for adults and teens who want to straighten their teeth without the appearance of traditional braces.

The Invisalign treatment process begins with a consultation with an Invisalign-trained dentist or orthodontist. During this consultation, the dentist will examine the patient's teeth, take X-rays and photographs, and discuss the patient's treatment goals. Based on this information, the dentist will create a treatment plan that includes a series of custom-made aligners.
Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks before being replaced with the next set in the series. As the patient progresses through the series of aligners, their teeth will gradually shift into their desired position.
One of the main advantages of Invisalign is its cosmetic appeal. The aligners are virtually invisible when worn, making it a great option for adults and teens who are self-conscious about their appearance. They are also more comfortable than traditional braces, as they do not have any metal brackets or wires that can cause irritation to the gums and cheeks.
Invisalign also offers greater flexibility than traditional braces. The aligners are removable, which means that patients can remove them for short periods of time, such as when eating or brushing their teeth. This makes it easier to maintain good oral hygiene and to eat the foods that you love.
Another advantage of Invisalign is that it is a more precise treatment option than traditional braces. The aligners are custom-made for each patient, which means that they are designed to move the teeth in specific ways. This allows the dentist to achieve the desired results in a more efficient and predictable manner.
Invisalign can be used to correct a wide range of orthodontic problems, including crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, and crossbite. It is also a great option for patients who have already had orthodontic treatment in the past and are experiencing relapse.
It's important to note that Invisalign is not suitable for all patients. Some patients may require traditional braces or other orthodontic treatments to achieve the desired results. Your dentist or orthodontist will be able to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you based on your individual needs and circumstances.
The length of treatment will depend on the complexity of the case, but most patients will complete their treatment within 12 to 18 months.
Invisalign requires a high level of commitment from the patient. The aligners must be worn for at least 22 hours per day to achieve the desired results. Patients must also visit their dentist to ensure the treatment progresses as planned.
The cost will depend on the length and complexity of the case; however, most treatments range between $6,500 and $8500.
